J is for JERICHO

Joshua was a brave leader of God’s people. God told him to take the city of Jericho. No army could get inside the city because of its high walls. For six days Joshua marched with the army around the walls of the city. Tramp, tramp, tramp went the feet of the soldiers.  On the seventh day the army marched around seven times. The priests blew horns, and the people shouted. Boom! The high walls tumbled down. Joshua and his army took the city.
