E is for ELIJAH

God told Elijah that it would not ram for a long time. Soon the rivers dried up. The vegetables in the gardens died, the cows and sheep had no grass to eat, and the people were hungry. God to Elijah to go to a brook where there was water to drink. God sent big birds, ca “ravens,” to bring him food every day. Then Elijah prayed for rain, and soon the rain fell, the grass was green, and the rivers were full of water. Then the people had plenty of food once more.
