A is for ABRAHAM

Abraham lived in a city with his father and mother. He was cal “the friend of God.” One day God told Abraham to leave his home and go to a country far away. Abraham was quick to obey. He was a rich man, so he had many sheep and camels and cattle to take with him. He traveled from town to town, and the family lived in tents. Abraham had a son named Isaac, who helped his father care for the sheep and camels and cattle. God was good to Abraham and his son Isaac.
