would have to suffer a lot....He would be killed, but on the third
day he would come back to life.

- Jesus knew
what was going to happen to him on earth before he even came here. When
he was 30 years old he began teaching about God. He healed sick people
and raised people from the dead. But he never forgot what was ahead for
him.
- Three different
times when Jesus was speaking, He told his followers that many terrible
things were going to happen to him.
He told them
that he was going to suffer and die. He also told them that on the third
day after he died, he would be raised from the dead.
What
terrible things happened to Jesus? - Why did
Jesus come, knowing what was going to happen?
Dear God,
- Thank you
that Jesus was willing to come to earth and even though he knew the
terrible things that would happen to him here. I couldn't be talking to
you now if he didn't come.
