Happy Easter

 

Christ died to take away our sins as the Scriptures predicted. He was placed in a tomb. He was brought back to life on the third day as the Scriptures predicted. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:3-4

"Yeaaa!!!! It's Easter Sunday. This is my favorite holiday," Jamie announced. "I like the Easter baskets, and the new clothes, and the big dinner, and that summer is coming. Why do we celebrate Easter anyway?" Jamie asked.

"Remember the stories we've read about Jesus' death and how he came back to life? Mom asked.

"Yes," answered Jamie.

"We celebrate Easter as the day Jesus rose from the dead. It's a very important part of our faith. Easter morning showed that Jesus had won over death."

Dear God,

Thank you for Easter Sunday. It was one of the last steps in your great plan. I'm glad I can go to heaven someday because of Easter. Amen.
