Food from Heaven



God performed many miracles to help the Israelites escape from slavery in Egypt. Now they were walking through a desert on the way to their new home. But the people kept complaining, "We're hungry! We should have stayed in Egypt. We had all the food we wanted there. We're going to starve to death out here in the desert."
God heard them. He said to Moses, "I will send food." How could God do that? There was no food anywhere around.
But God did it. He made a special bread, called manna, fall down from the sky at night. Each person had enough food to eat every day.

Dear God,
It is so wonderful that you helped the hungry people even when they were complaining.Thank you for the food you give me. Thank you for such a beautiful story in the Bible to teach me such an important lesson. In Jesus´Name. Amen.
