Blessed are
those who have not seen me and yet have become believers.

JOHN 20:29
|
One time all the
disciples except Thomas were together and Jesus came to see them. Since he
did not see Jesus himself, Thomas would not believe Jesus was alive. He
wanted to see Jesus. He wanted to touch Jesus' wounds.
- A week later the
disciples were all together again and this time Thomas was with them.
Jesus came to them. He let Thomas touch his hands and side where the
wounds were. Then Thomas believed Jesus was alive again.
Jesus was glad
Thomas believed. He was even happier because of the people who have not
seen him and still believe.
Why
wouldn't Thomas believe Jesus was alive?
- Who was Jesus
talking about who believed without seeing?
- How would you
react if you were Thomas?
Dear God,
- Thank you that
I believe even though I haven't actually seen you. Thank you for your
patience with Thomas and with me when I make mistakes. Help me to follow
you and love You. In Jesus´s Name. Amen.
- Love, Tia
Célia
