[God
is] going to send you food from heaven like rain.
EXODUS 16:4

God cares about every problem we have. The Israelites were complaining
because they were hungry. They got angry at Moses for taking them out of
Egypt where they were slaves. All they cared about was the good food in
Egypt. God heard them complaining. He told Moses that he would send food
for the Israelites. He would send bread every morning and meat every night.
The people probably wondered how God would do this. They were in the
middle of a desert. There was no food anywhere. That night, birds flew in
and covered the camp. The Israelites caught them for food. The next
morning bread, called manna, came down from the sky. God meant what he
said.

trust God for today?
Dear God,
- Thank you for
caring about what I need every day. It is hard to be happy when I am
hungry or tired. Thank you for taking care of me. Amen.
- As God
provided food for the Israelites, He will provide our needs. Trust Him.
