- A large crowd of
people was walking with Jesus and his disciples as they left the city of
Jericho. A blind man named Bartimaeus was sitting near the road and he
heard the crowd passing by. When Bartimaeus found out that it was Jesus
the crowd was following, he began to shout: "Jesus, have mercy on me!" The
people around him told Bartimaeus to be quiet, but he kept shouting. Jesus
heard Bartimaeus calling and told someone to bring him over. "What do you
want me to do for you? Jesus asked.
Bartimaeus answered,
"I want to see."
- Jesus said, "Go
on your way. Your faith has healed you. Right then, Bartimaeus could see!
What
problem did Bartimaeus have? - Who did he
think could help him?

- Thank you that
Jesus healed Bartimaeus. Thank you that I can see all the wonderful things
you have made for me.
