A sick man is healed - Naaman

 

Don't be afraid, because I am with you.   ISAIAH 41:10

When people are very sick, they may wonder if God still cares about them. One time a man was sick with a terrible disease. His name was Naaman He was a commander in the army. Naaman had a disease called leprosy. People who had leprosy had to go live together.

They were not allowed around well people. A young slave girl who worked for Naaman loved God. She knew God could heal Naaman's leprosy. So she told him to go see Elisha, a prophet of God. God could use him to heal Naaman. God did help Elisha and Naaman was healed!

Why did the young girl think God would help?

Are you surprised that Naaman listened to a little girl?

Dear God,

Thank you that sometimes people are healed of their diseases. Thank you that you always care about the problems we have .
